Dale Bunning

Dale has been working as a Gas Engineer in Shropshire since he left school in 2004 and became qualified at the end of his apprenticeship in September 2006. Since then he has worked for a few local companies all over Shropshire, maintaining and repairing Domestic Gas appliances as well as performing a large number of installations during that time.

Dale set up DA Bunning Gas in 2011 based in the Oswestry and Border area and has made the company Limited in 2014. 

Dale is fully qualified and holds CCN1 (Core Gas Safety) as well as the following qualifications that allows him to install, exchange, service and repair the following appliances:
  • Boilers and water heaters (CENWAT)
  • Cookers and Hobs (CKR1)
  • Fires and wall heaters (HTR1)
  • Combustion Performance Analysis (CPA1)
In addition to being qualified to work on natural gas appliances we can also work on domestic LPG appliances in permanent dwellings (CoNGLP1PD)

Emma is the newest member of the team, and joined in March 2023.

As the business continues to go from strength to strength, we decided in March that it was time to recruit a new team member to support Fran and Sam in the office. We are pleased to welcome Emma Tomkins to the team, who's working days with be Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Emma will be responsible for the day to day booking of appointments, dealing with customer queries and will take a lead on the social media side of things. Emma's background is mainly within Sports Development, however she has had a long working history within customer service.

Fran Jones

Fran joined the company in December 2012 and since then has been responsible for admin and bookings at DA Bunning Gas Ltd. She has overseen a lot of development at DA Bunning Gas, including making the company limited in 2014. 

Fran works Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Fran can be contacted directly at fran@dabunninggas.co.uk

Samantha Bunning

Samantha has been behind the scenes of the business since Dale first set up in 2011, however, it wasn’t until 2014 that she formally joined the administration team. 

Alongside Fran, Samantha is responsible for general office admin as well as taking bookings. 

Samantha is also landlord liason at DA Bunning Gas, so for any new or existing landlord enquiries please contact her.

Samantha works Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and can be contacted directly at samantha@dabunninggas.co.uk

Josh Rowley

Josh started his apprenticeship with the company in September 2017.

Josh is an enthusiastic and keen young man. He left the Marches school with a hope to develop his skills in construction and started a plumbing course at Oswestry college. After a year on the course he decided that he wanted to do more physical work and decided to do property maintenance which specialized in kitchens and bathrooms. During this period he gained many skills, which will help him complete his apprenticeship with DA Bunning Gas.

Josh decided to look for apprenticeships so he could gain qualifications and after a while he came across D.A. Bunning Gas. Josh says..

“The Company was in the process of expanding and it made me want to join in on the journey of making this company an even bigger success. I was keen to know more about the business so i researched the company more, and i was impressed by the work and how hard Dale had worked to get where he is now. It has shown me how much i could develop as a person with all the qualifications i could gain. I decided to apply and i am so happy to be part of the team. I have been made to feel so welcome and already feel at home and I can’t wait to get started and meet all the new customers in the future”
